Activities on crop augmentation increased farmers’ average crop productivity by approx 40-50% generating small marketable surplus at household level. Despite yield increment, the farm income did not increase proportionally due to lack of access to genuine market for agriculture inputs, unavailability of proper marketing facility at locally. Farmers are selling their produce to local vendors individually under duress leading to malpractices, exploitation and under value of their produce. Therefore, reengineering the current supply chain, minimizing the role of local middlemen, blocking the pilferage of profit margin from farmer to middleman and their diversion distribution amongst farmers itself, facilitating better market opportunities to members, organizing the farmer’s production as per market demand and availability, transforming the small producer from subsistence economy to agribusiness entrepreneur.
